| Chapter 2 Much time has passed since peasants, dwarf, and troll had been united. One day the troll was roaming Blackwell Forest (little known fact that Blackwell Forest does indeed serve as a reservoir for Blackwater Park) with a fair maiden of no importance whatsoever and the rarely seen individual known as Petrus the Tormenter of Cats. Given that both Petrus and troll lack anything that resembles intelligence, they ended up being lost in a vast field of asphalt. This was actually the legendary Parking Lot of Eternal Imprisonment, which is actually an anomaly in the space-time continuum. It serves as a final destination for cars that somehow travel through vortexes and end up in the parking lot, as no roads actually connect with it. The three travelers wandered aimlessly for what seemed like days when a golem made of the blackest asphalt rose before them. The golem proclaimed himself to be Asmodeus, and the only way the lost people could ever find their way back to the forest would be if they made a sacrifice. Before he could give any form of protest, Petrus was thrust over to Asmodeus, who proceeded in demolishing the Cat Tormenter's body. Creidhne happened to be observing this event, and could do little more than shake his head in disgust. Creidhne disguised himself as a peasant, and paid Coy a visit. "Coy! What is this insolence?" he bellowed from inside his peasant's cowl. "You shall all pay for this vilesome deed!" Creidhne felt that because the troll seemed a bit too eager in handing over Petrus, the band as a whole should suffer a fate worse than death: the one who smote Petrus from the Earth would now be the front-man. Using his guise as a peasant, Creidhne tricked Coy into bringing Asmodeus into the band. |
