Some show news! We'll be playing at Stage 83 in Lemont on April 19th. The show is all
ages and $10 at the door. You can buy them from us for $8, so if you are planning on
coming, let us know! Hope to see you there.
The YOTI show on the 14th went GREAT. A very big thank you to all who came out
and supported us. We drew the biggest number of people I think we ever have, so again,
thanks for coming out and supporting us! Another big thanks to Velnias for setting us up
with these shows and for letting us play with them on what became known as our
"mini-tour." Great guys and a great band. Check them out on Myspace! We have no
more shows in the works at the moment, so hopefully we can use this time to finish up the
last song on our album. We hope everyone has a grim and frostbitten holiday!

So we're not dead and hopefully you've been checking our website. We have two shows
coming up with friends Velnias, we would really appreciate seeing you all there! Info
here. As for the album, one song to go! It is finally coming to an end, more info to come.
There is also a site redesign in the planning stages (sort-of), so expect that sometime in
the future. As always, check the Myspace for the most up-to-date news.
I've made a few updates from the past few months. There's new live pictures in the
Media section and Brian's bio has been updated. We also have a show coming up this
Friday at Memories; info here. I'm planning a site redesign in the coming weeks, so look
for that as well. To anyone who hasn't gotten their CD(s), we apologize about the
inconvenience. Replacements were sent out this past Thursday and should be arriving
soon. To anyone who hasn't ordered one yet, we're running low, so get yours soon!
The show last night at Mojoes was great and a big THANK YOU to everyone who
came out and hung out with us. We all had a great time and we hope you did to. If you
didn't pick up a copy of our EP, or were unable to come to the show, we're selling them

Thanks to everyone who came out to the show at the Elk Grove VFW! We actually
brought the 2nd most amount of people, which surprised and pleased us very much. So
thanks again! There's not much going on around here at the moment, but we are still
writing songs and trying to find shows to play. Check out our Offiicial Forum for anything
new. In the meantime, check out the pictures from the show!
There's been a few site updates that should be mentioned. Firstly, you can now buy our
shirts directly from the website. We are charging $15 ($10 for the shirt, $5 for S&H) and
we don't have many left, so if you want one, don't wait! Unfortunately we also only have
them in the Large size. Also, I have posted links to our new tracks on the Media Page,
which can also be found on our Myspace. Give them a listen and leave us some
comments. Our Offiicial Forum is a good place to do that!
Here's our first real bit of news for the new year and it's a good one! New tracks (mixed
and mastered) are available for listening and download on our Myspace. These tracks
will be on our forthcoming demo/EP, which is untitled at the moment. It includes the first
2 tracks from the concept album we are writing, an unrelated new song and a reworking
of a classic C.I.D. song. Go listen and all comments are appreciated and encouraged!
We here at Clad In Darkness would just to wish everyone and their families a Happy
Holidays. Hope you all get what you want and all that good stuff. Just a reminder, we
DO have a show coming up on the 13th of January. It seems like we're going to be a tad
bit out of place, so COME OUT AND SUPPORT US! We will have shirts for sale at

The show on the 19th went well, thanks to everyone who came out and had fun with us!
We were called Clad In Drunkness by Urn, so you can imagine. Speaking of Urn, a big
thanks to them for hooking us up with the show in the first place. We all had a lot of fun
and you can see pictures here. In other news, at long last, we have finally getting around
to making shirts! We'll be setting up a Paypal account soon for purchasing.
Last minute show people! Next Saturday (the 19th) we'll be playing with Tortured Soul
and goth metallers URN (finally!) at Brisku's Bistro. It's a 21+ show, so if you're of age,
please come out and support us and the other bands. Doors open at 9 and we're playing
first, so come out early!
We have an unfortunate update on the last news post. Due to reasons beyond our
control, both of the aforementioned shows have been cancelled. Another Urn show is in
the works, but when it will take place is impossible to know at this time. On the other
hand, tracking for the EP is done and it is now in the mixing stage, where John from
Wormwood Productions is (hopefully) working his magic. Next will come the mastering
and then we hope to send it off for duplication. We should have samples up within the
next few weeks, but for now, here is a little something to hold you over: Amidst Her
Shadows (2005 version) Teaser. I would also like to mention that it would be a good
idea to join our Official Forum, as news is posted more regularly there and it is generally
easier to keep up with what's going on in the world of CID.
